Horizons is DLC for Elite: Dangerous. It adds a number of gameplay expansions with gradual releases organized as seasons. The expansions are:* Planetary landings: players can land their ships on the surface of worlds and explore with the new Scarab Surface Recon Vehicle.
The Engineers: a new type of mission system and loot that introduces new ship customization options through exotic weapons and new types of modules.
The Guardians: a second ship in combat through ship-launched fighters (not yet released)
The Commanders: support for mult-crew bridges and a ranking system for different roles (not yet released)
